The Latest

Create your own lip palette by mixing the 3 Conept Eyes Lip Pigment. They have a soft and creamy texture that allow you to mix with multiple colours! Whether you want to mix yellow with pink or orange with white, the choice is yours! They are available in 7 colours - Bright Orange, Electro Pink, Issue, Mellow Pink, Mink Beige, Wild Yellow and Modern White.

If you look at the number of shades of lipsticks that 3 Concept Eyes have created, you probably realise how much emphasis the Koreans have put on their lip make up.

"Gradient lips" has become the latest trend in Korea and Asia as it creates "a youthful, and innocent" look. It is featured in a lot of music videos, for example, in Miss A's "Touch" and APink's "Mr. CHU".

Gradient lips are easy to create. First of all, cover your lips with a thin layer of lip concealer to tone down your lips. Then, apply the lipstick to the inner part of your lips and blend outwards.

Don't forget to regularly exfoliate your lips to remove dead cells and use lip moisturising masks, preferably once a week. Otherwise, your lips will look flaky and dry, which defeats the purpose of this youthful look.

I am sure for those of you, who have hidden/inner double eyelids like I do, are facing the same problem - the eye make up just doesn't hold and it smudges around the under eye area all the time, giving you a "natural panda eye". I gave up on eye make up for a long period of time as having a dark panda eye seems so much worse than not having any...

Until a while ago, I attended a day-to-day makeup lesson with a make up artist from Japan. I ask her about how to handle my inner double eyelids - something that is quite common to the Japanese. The advice that she's given me works like magic! Here are the tips:

Foundation/BB Cream - avoid putting too much on your eyelid. Your make up will not hold if you apply too much product and it will smudge more easily.

Set your make up with Powder - again not too much.

Double-sided double eyelid tape - this stops your eye shadow and eyeliner from rubbing off by the eyelids as you blink. It also creates bigger looking eyes - two birds with one stone!

I recommend DUP Wonder Eyelid Tape and Koji Eye Talk Eyelid Glue. If you use it according to the instruction they stay put for a day. There are loads of tutorials on youtube about how to use them correctly.

Curl your eyelashes properly - hidden double eyelids are often accompanied by downward-pointing eyelashes, which doesn't help with smudging. Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler and Shiseido Eyelash Curler are my favorites.

Mascara - a good waterproof mascara will hold your curled eyelashes all day. Both

Eyeliner - there are many good waterproof and sweat-proof products out there. For smooth application, try Shiseido Integrate Liquid EyelinerMajolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liquid EyelinerKiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner
